John Baits

John is a very experienced executive in the development of IT and communication products and technology. His positions have included IBM Laboratory executive responsibilities in the UK, USA and Japan, plus Corporate Director of Large Systems and the founding executive of IBM’s OEM business.

The latter was followed by becoming the MD of IT & Research for Telstra (Australia), and subsequently Corporate Director of Network & IT Strategy for C&W.

In parallel, John was a non executive member of the Group Development Board at GSK, plus the Vice Chairman of Opsys, an Oxford University spin out company. John is now a Visiting Professor at Southampton University and the CTO of DN Capital, a Pan European/USA VC company based in London.
