Patrick Smith

Patrick Smith has been working in the software development industry since 2012. Patrick began their career as an Intern and Part-time Web Developer at Aventura Technologies, followed by a role as Junior Programmer at Lieberman Research Inc. in 2014. Patrick also worked as an Assistant Manager at the Town of Babylon Department of Parks and Recreation Fabio Buttitta Pool in 2012. In 2015, they became a Web Developer at Sharpe Concepts NY. In 2017, they joined King Kullen as a Software Developer. In 2019, they joined IntelliShift as a Lead, Application Development, and a Software Developer. During their time as a Freelance Web Developer from 2014-2019, they offered web development services to various clients, set up custom responsive WordPress themes, and developed custom sites from scratch using various technologies.

Patrick Smith earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Stony Brook University between 2010 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from St. John's University from 2009 to 2010. Smith has also achieved several certifications, including "New Manager Foundations" from LinkedIn in November 2022, "Make the Move from Individual Contributor to Manager" from LinkedIn in October 2022, "Git Real" and "Git Real 2" from Code School in February 2016, "Mastering GitHub" from Code School in February 2016, "Try Git" from Code School in February 2016, and "Codility Golden Award for the Molybdenum 2019 Challenge" from Codility in October 2019.
