Ana Luiza has a bachelor degree in Law from Milton Campos College in Belo Horizonte – MG – Brazil (1999), a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from the University of Houston, Texas – USA (2001), with a scholarship from the Fullbright Commission – USA (2001), and management specializations from Fundação Dom Cabral (Brazil).
Joined Inter in October 2015 as Legal and Institutional Relations Superintendent. In June 2017 was appointed Chief Legal and Administrative Officer and in 2019 was appointed to her current position in which she is also a member of the main committees within Inter. Before joining Inter, she was an executive at Grupo Tarpon Investimentos, initially as a managing member of the legal and corporate risk management committees of their portfolio companies and later as head of the legal and compliance department at Omega Energia (2012 to 2014). She previously worked at Machado Meyer Advogados – Brazil (2006 to 2012), mainly in M&A and capital markets transactions and in 2008 became head of one of the firm’s branch offices, at Cescon Barrieu Advogados (2002 to 2006), and as an International Lawyer with Andrews Kurth LLP, Houston – USA (2001-2002).
