Ligia Costa

Ligia Costa has extensive work experience in product design and UX roles. Ligia currently holds the position of Product Design Coordinator and UX Lead at Inter. Before that, they worked as a Senior Product Designer and Senior UX Designer at the same company. Prior to Inter, Ligia worked as a Product Designer and UX Designer at dti digital. Ligia also held similar roles at Facta Tecnologia and SYS10 - Soluções Tecnológicas. Ligia has previous experience in account management and customer relationship roles at Travel Ace Assistance S/A - Brasil. Additionally, they worked as a Web and Digital Designer before transitioning into the field of product design and UX. Ligia started their career as a Researcher with a scholarship at CNPq - Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico.

Ligia Costa obtained their Bachelor's and Teaching degrees in Biological and Physical Sciences from PUC Minas from 2006 to 2009. Ligia later pursued a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais, completing it between 2014 and 2019. In addition to their formal education, Ligia has obtained several certifications, including a membership certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation in 2019 and a technical web design course from Seven Computação Gráfica in 2012. Ligia has also received certifications in areas such as leadership, design thinking, product design, and coding for designers.
