Michael Branch

Michael Branch has extensive experience in law enforcement and court security, currently serving as a Court Security Officer at Akal Security since October 2018 and at Inter-Con Security Systems, Inc. since March 2018. Prior to these roles, Michael served as a Police Captain at the Plattsburgh Police Department from April 2004 to August 2017, where responsibilities included overseeing department operations and policy development. Additionally, Michael held the position of Past President at the Law Enforcement Training Directors Association of New York State from May 2013 to September 2015, and worked as an Adjunct Professor in the criminal justice division at Clinton Community College from September 2009 to May 2013. Michael holds a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems Management from the University of Phoenix, an Executive Leadership certificate from the FBI National Academy, and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from SUNY Brockport.
