Sam Bruce

Sam Bruce, CPS, CCIP has a diverse work experience in security and investigative roles. Sam most recently served as the Director of Executive Protection and Special Asset Security Services at Inter-Con Security starting in August 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Deputy Director of Executive Protection and Intelligence Services/Training Operations Group at Allied Universal from February 2021 to August 2023.

Before their time at Allied Universal, Sam held positions at AS Solution, serving as the Deputy Director of Executive Protection Training Operations from August 2020 to February 2021, and as the Senior Manager of Executive Protection Training and Logistics from August 2016 to August 2020.

Sam was also a Co-Founder and Director of Operations at SBI Global, where they oversaw executive protection and intelligence services from March 2013 to April 2018. Additionally, Sam has experience with corporate security services at PINKERTON | Corporate Risk Management Services and field investigations at Defense Investigators Group.

Prior to their career in the security industry, Sam served as a Project Manager at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK and worked in security and protective services at a private foundation.

Sam Bruce has a diverse education history in the fields of executive protection, cybersecurity, investigations, and crisis management. In 2015, Sam obtained a Certified Protection Specialist (CPS) degree from Executive Security International, specializing in Executive Protection Studies. In 2020, they furthered their expertise with a Certified Cyber Intelligence Professional (CCIP) degree from the McAfee Institute, focusing on Cyber and Open Source Intelligence Studies. Sam also attended the AS Solution Global Training Academy from 2016 to 2020, obtaining a degree in Executive Protection and Intelligence Studies. They furthered their knowledge in crisis management by completing the Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) program from the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians in 2018. Sam holds an A.A. degree from Herbert W. Armstrong College, majoring in Liberal Arts, Theology, and International Relations (2005-2007). Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in areas such as first aid, CPR, crisis intervention, threat assessment, and situational awareness.
