Thomas O'Connell

Thomas O'Connell is a seasoned security professional with a strong background in diplomatic security and military operations. Currently serving as a Diplomatic Security Specialist and Team Lead at Inter-Con Security since April 2020, Thomas oversees the Blair House Command Center and ensures compliance with SCIF security procedures. Thomas previously held multiple roles in the US Army, including Battalion AS2, where responsibilities encompassed supporting intelligence functions and managing S2 equipment valued over $4 million. As a Platoon Leader, Thomas led an Armored Airborne Cavalry Troop, focusing on training and welfare, while also managing administrative tasks as Battalion AS1. Thomas is a graduate of Virginia Military Institute with a Bachelor of Arts in German and holds additional educational credentials from Fort Benning and Freie Universität Berlin.
