Eli Friedman serves as the Medical Director of Sports Cardiology at Baptist Health and is integral to the Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. In this role, Eli leads initiatives for the cardiac and vascular pharmacy and therapeutics as well as for the cardiology quality metrics program, focusing on improving clinical practice and patient outcomes. Eli is the team cardiologist for Inter Miami CF and the Florida Panthers, and also provides expertise as a cardiology medical advisor for the WTA and is a member of the USTA Sports Science Commission. Prior experience includes serving as the Medical Director of Sports Cardiology at Memorial Healthcare System and a cardiology fellow at UPMC. Eli holds a Doctor of Medicine from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh.
