Julius James

Julius James has extensive experience in soccer as both a player and a coach. Currently serving as an Academy Coach for Inter Miami CF since July 2019, Julius is responsible for creating and maintaining the annual training plan and implementing tactical and physical periodization models. In addition, since December 2020, Julius has been an Advisor for myHealthTrack, leveraging personal recovery experiences from significant surgeries to promote injury prevention and patient care. As a co-founder and Senior Social Development Director of the Can Bou Play Foundation since May 2018, Julius contributes to social development initiatives. A former professional athlete, Julius played for notable teams including Toronto FC, Houston Dynamo, and FC Motown, and has been involved in various levels of soccer, including participation in the FIFA Under 17 World Cup in 2001. Julius holds degrees in Resource and Agricultural Economics and a minor in Geography from the University of Connecticut, where also served as team captain and earned several accolades in soccer.
