Babak Shabani

Babak Shabani is a seasoned geoscientist with a diverse background in reservoir engineering and research. Currently, Babak serves as a Geoscientist at INTERA Incorporated since September 2022. Prior experience includes roles as an Assistant Research Scientist and Research Scientist at the Indiana Geological and Water Survey from May 2019 to September 2022, and as both a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Oklahoma State University from August 2015 to May 2019. Babak also worked as a Reservoir Engineer at both the Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute and the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company from 2012 to 2015. Academic achievements include a PhD from Oklahoma State University and master's and bachelor's degrees in Petroleum Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology and the Petroleum University of Technology, respectively.
