Leila Saberi

Leila Saberi, Ph.D., is a Senior Groundwater Modeler and Hydrogeologist at INTERA Incorporated since June 2021. Previously, Leila worked as a Research Assistant and PhD Candidate at the University of Minnesota from September 2016 to May 2021, focusing on the impacts of hydroclimatic variability and land use changes on water resource availability and quality. Leila's experience includes analyzing remote sensing and photogrammetry data at GFZ-Potsdam and performing fieldwork in Jordan. Earlier in their career, Leila served as a Civil Engineer at Abnous Contracting LTD, where Leila designed structures to withstand various loads. Leila holds a Ph.D. in Hydrology/Hydrogeology from the University of Minnesota, a Master's in Environmental Engineering from the University of Tehran, and a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from the University of Kurdistan.
