Tracy Staples

Tracy Staples is a Coastal Engineer with extensive experience in simulating storm surge and riverine runoff events using numerical models such as ADCIRC, SWAN, HEC-RAS, and SRH-2D, currently employed at INTERA Incorporated since January 2021. Previous roles include working at Coastal Systems International, Inc. from 2010 to 2011, where Tracy conducted coastal engineering analysis and design for various projects, and serving as a Coastal Engineering Intern at the US Army Corps of Engineers from 2006 to 2009. Tracy holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Science in Coastal Engineering from the University of Florida, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from East Carolina University.
