Diedre Blake

Diedre Blake is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, therapy, and writing. Currently serving as the Instructor Development Manager at Interac since March 2017, Diedre supports assistant language teachers in enhancing their skills and navigating cultural differences. Previously, Diedre held various roles at Interac, including Assistant Language Teacher and Head Teacher. As a freelance writer since March 2015, Diedre also presented workshops on expressive and art therapy for Skills Empowered in February 2021. Additional experience includes working as a freelance researcher for Wonder, providing therapy at Germaine Lawrence and McLean Hospital, and mentoring students at Timilty Middle School. Diedre holds a Master’s degree in Expressive Therapies from Lesley University, a Bachelor’s degree in Italian Studies from John Cabot University, and a degree in Studio Art from Stanford University.
