Grant Baker

Grant Baker currently serves as an Assistant Language Teacher for junior high school English classes in Tokyo's Edogawa Ward, with responsibilities encompassing lesson preparation and teaching support. Previously, Grant worked as Native Staff, engaging elementary school students in English immersion activities throughout Tokyo. Additional experience includes roles as a Front Desk Associate at Banya 5 Urban Spa, a Spring Intern at The Cipher Brief, and a Research Fellow at the Edward B. Brueggemann Center for Dialogue, focusing on Foreign Direct Investment in North Korean Special Economic Zones. Grant also interned at the City of Cincinnati's Office of Environment and Sustainability and assisted analysts at Microsoft's Global Security department as a Strategic Intelligence Research Fellow. Grant holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and the Public from Xavier University, complemented by studies at Sogang University.
