David Xu

David Xu, CISSP, currently serves as the Leader of Threat & Vulnerability Management at Interac Corp., having transitioned to this role in April 2024. Previously, David held several positions at Canadian Tire Corporation from September 2015 to April 2024, including Manager of Vulnerability and Threat Intelligence, and Sr. Team Lead in Threat & Vulnerability Management. Throughout this tenure, David led various threat intelligence and vulnerability management initiatives, provided actionable intelligence to enhance cybersecurity, and supported incident response efforts. David's earlier experience includes roles at CIBC and Linamar, where skills in IT support and systems management were developed. David holds a degree in IT Management from the University of Waterloo.
