Freddy Marcano has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and positions. Freddy started their career as an intern at JL Sistemas in 1996 and later became a Project Leader for software development projects. Freddy then joined Procter & Gamble, where they held various IT Systems Analyst roles, leading system management departments and implementing cost-saving strategies. In 2003, Marcano transitioned to Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), initially working as an ITO Service Delivery Manager and later as an Account Delivery Executive, handling global accounts and managing implementation, transformation, and delivery of cloud computing and infrastructure services. Freddy continued their career at DXC Technology as an Account Delivery Lead and Director Consulting, focusing on client delivery and architecture. Finally, they joined CGI as a Director Consulting, responsible for client delivery and as a Senior DevOps Consultant. Currently, Marcano is working as the AVP - Platform Engineering Principal Architect at Interac Corp.
Freddy Marcano holds a Full Stack Web Development Certification from Free Code Camp, which was obtained from 2016 to 2017. Freddy also has a Business Administration Specialist degree from UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, obtained from 1998 to 2002. In addition, they hold a Computer Engineering degree from Universidad Simón Bolívar, earned from 1992 to 1997. Freddy Marcano obtained their high school degree from Colegio Agustiniano Cristo Rey from 1987 to 1992. Freddy also has additional certifications in DevOps Foundations and DevOps Foundations: Lean and Agile from Lynda.com, obtained in 2018.
