John Lyras

John Lyras, CPA, CMA, has extensive experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as the Head of Finance Operations at Interac Corp. since April 2008, with previous roles including AVP Finance, Controller, and Senior Manager, Accounting. Prior to Interac Corp., John held the position of Manager of Accounting & Finance in the TV Broadcast Division at Alliance Atlantis from 2005 to 2008 and served as Accounting Manager and Accounting Supervisor at Enterprise Rent-A-Car from 1999 to 2005. Early career experience includes roles as Financial Accountant at AlphaNet Telecom Inc. and General Accountant at Arvin Ride Control Products, Canada Division. John holds a Master Controller Certificate and is a Certified Member from The Society of Management Accountants of Ontario, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Administrative Studies and a Certificate in Business Management from York University.
