Mehak M. Wani

Mehak M. Wani has an extensive work history in the field of cybersecurity. Mehak M. began their career in 2016 at IBM, where they worked as a Security & Risk Analyst and Resiliency Lead. After three years at IBM, they moved on to work as a Cyber Risk Manager at Cyber Rescue Alliance in 2020. In 2021, Mehak joined Deloitte as a Senior Consultant in Cyber Strategy, and later became a Manager in that role. In 2023, they transitioned to Interac Corp., where they hold the position of Director of the Business Information Security Office.

Mehak M. Wani holds a Master of Science degree in Information Security, with a major in Cyber Security, from Royal Holloway, University of London. Prior to obtaining their master's degree, they earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering from Chandigarh Engineering College. In addition to their formal education, Mehak has obtained several certifications, including AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Security Scorecard Technical Training from Security S, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor - Information Security Certification from NABET, and ITIL V3 Foundation from EXIN your ICT competence partner.
