Miri Makin

Miri Makin is an accomplished HR strategy leader with extensive experience in organizational effectiveness and change management, currently serving as the Head of Organizational Effectiveness at Interac Corp. since September 2019. In this role, Miri focuses on accelerating organizational change to enhance business outcomes and employee experience, while leading change management practices and employee engagement programs. Prior to this position, Miri built the organizational change management practice at Interac and managed internal communications, successfully launching high-adoption digital platforms. Miri's previous experience includes communication management roles at Bell and Ryerson University, as well as project management and communication specialist roles early in Miri's career. Miri holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Queen's University and a Master of Professional Communication from Ryerson University.
