Palash Thakur is an experienced leader in data analytics and fraud prevention, currently serving as Vice President and Head of Data Analytics & Fraud (CDO) at Interac Corp. since March 2021, where responsibilities include developing enterprise data analytics strategies and driving innovation in data-driven culture. Palash also holds positions as Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Risk & IT Committee at Indus Community Services, Advisor at RideAlike, and Advisory Board Member for programs at the Schulich School of Business. Previous experience includes significant roles at CIBC spanning over 13 years in data strategy, analytics, and governance, as well as co-founding the Data VizArt Student Challenge. Palash's educational background includes an MBA from The University of British Columbia and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Silchar.
