Seth Whitmore

Seth Whitmore serves as Senior Legal Counsel at Interac Corp. since January 2023, providing legal support for the Interac e-Transfer product teams in areas such as feature development, regulatory compliance, third-party contracts, and anti-money laundering obligations, while also managing select litigation and corporate governance matters. Previously, at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP from January 2019 to January 2023, Seth represented clients in complex commercial disputes, focusing on regulatory, securities, financial litigation, class actions, and contract disputes. Prior experience includes litigation roles at PCB Byrne LLP and as a Fox Scholar at The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in London, where involvement centered on various commercial and public law disputes. Early career development included articling and summer positions at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, and summer legal roles at Metrolinx and with Professor Joost Blom. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from The University of British Columbia, studies at Sciences Po, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from Queen's University.
