Tom Cooper

Tom Cooper, CPA has a strong background in finance and accounting. Tom has held various roles over the years, starting their career as a Reconciliation Clerk at Direct Energy in 2004. Tom then worked as a Corporate Client Care Representative at Bell Mobility before joining IPG Mediabrands as a Financial Analyst and later as an Accounting Coordinator. Tom then moved to Bell Media where they worked as a Revenue Analyst and later as a Finance Manager in Revenue Reporting. Tom then joined Bell as a Senior Manager in Finance - Revenue Reporting, where they led various initiatives and collaborated with different teams to ensure accurate budgeting and variance analysis. In 2018, they took on the role of Director of Finance at TripSpark Technologies, overseeing all financial operations and driving strategic planning. Most recently, Tom worked as the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at BlueCat before joining Interac Corp. as the Director of Finance. Throughout their career, Tom has demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, strategy, and leadership.

Tom Cooper, CPA holds a BCOMM degree in Economics from the University of Guelph, which they obtained from 2005 to 2009. In 2012, they obtained a Certified Management Accountant Certification from the Certified Management Accountants of Canada. Two years later, in 2014, Tom obtained the Chartered Professional Accountant Certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada. Additionally, Tom has completed a Workplace Mental Health Leadership program at Queen's University.
