Vlad Lappo

Vlad Lappo, M.Sc. (Engineering), possesses extensive experience in DevSecOps and engineering with a focus on AWS Cloud solutions, automation, and security. Currently serving as a Senior Specialist in DevSecOps at Interac Corp. since May 2025, Vlad also fulfills the role of DevSecOps Consultant at QuaDex Engineering Inc. since June 2016, providing expertise in infrastructure as code, continuous integration, and observability. Previous roles include Senior Cloud Engineer at Onica by Rackspace Technology, where contributions involved maintaining architecture for high availability and scalability, and Cloud Engineer focusing on AWS cloud migration and infrastructure automation. Vlad's background encompasses significant work in mechanical and piping engineering at various companies, including Pratt & Whitney Canada and SNC-Lavalin, and includes research experience at McGill University. Vlad holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University and a Bachelor’s in Engineering Physics from McMaster University.
