Robert Jones

Robert Jones has a diverse work experience in web and UX design. Robert started their career as a Web Designer/Developer at Work Communications in 2007, where they were responsible for designing and building client websites, e-shots, html emails, and marketing material. Robert also developed functionalities such as contact forms and built a custom content management system.

In 2009, Robert joined Interact Software as an Interactive Designer, where they focused on designing and building client websites and intranets. Robert also worked closely with the product team to drive forward product features and functions. Robert later became the Interactive Lead Designer, heading up customer designs and managing small teams.

Robert worked as a Visual Designer at JD Sports Fashion plc in 2013, followed by a short stint as a Front-End Designer at Fanatics, Inc. in 2014. In 2015, they joined TyresOnTheDrive.com as a Senior Designer in the Conversion Team, where they ran A/B tests and made UI changes based on user data and business goals.

From 2016 to 2017, Robert worked as a Front-End Designer at The Emerson Group and then as a Senior Designer at Venn Digital. In 2017, they joined Interact Software again, this time as a Senior Intranet Designer focusing on UI and UX.

Since 2011, Robert has also been self-employed as a Freelance Web and UX Designer under the name Formulate Design. Robert has managed multiple projects, collaborating with various agencies and companies of different sizes.

Robert Jones has a diverse education history that spans from 2000 to 2020. In 2000, they attended Wilmslow High School and pursued A Level Studies, focusing on subjects such as Maths, I.T, and Design & Technology. From 2003 to 2006, Robert studied at the University of Leeds, where they obtained a BA hons 2:1 in New Media & Communications. During their time there, they specialized in Interface Design, Creating Database Applications for the Web, and Design for New Media.

In 2017, Robert attended the Akendi Training School in London, where they completed a Certified Training Course in UX Fundamentals, Experience Mapping, and Service Design. Lastly, in 2020, they enrolled in a program at Udemy Alumni, where they specialized in Adobe XD Animation - Icons and UI.
