Arunas Mark

Arunas Mark has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles.

Arunas is currently working as the CS Operations Unit Lead at Interactio - Multilingual Meetings Solution since December 2021.

Prior to this, they held the position of Head of FintechLT at the Agency for Science, Innovation and Technology (MITA) from December 2020 to November 2021.

Arunas also served as the Team Lead at AI BOOST Lithuania from February 2020 to November 2021 while working at MITA.

Before joining MITA, Arunas worked for EU Institutions as a Lobbyist/Policy Auditor for ten years from January 2010 to January 2020.

Arunas was a Member of the Council at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre from March 2013 to June 2018.

Arunas gained experience in the consulting industry as a Senior at EY from December 2015 to September 2016.

Arunas also worked as a Regulatory Affairs Expert at Invest Lithuania from November 2014 to November 2015.

In the field of education and science, Arunas held the position of Head of Education and Science Programmes at the Lithuanian National Commission for UNESCO from October 2011 to December 2013.

Arunas also served as the Interim Secretary General at the same organization from October to November 2012.

Arunas was a National Expert at the National Bologna Experts Group from July 2009 to December 2012.

Arunas gained leadership experience as the President of the National Union of Student Representations of Lithuania from October 2009 to March 2011.

Prior to this role, Arunas was the Head of Policy and International Affairs at the same organization from March 2008 to October 2009.

Arunas began their professional career as the Vice President of the Student Union of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre from June 2006 to June 2008.

Arunas Mark received their Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Saxophone from Lietuvos Muzikos ir Teatro Akademija, where they studied from 2004 to 2009. In addition to their undergraduate education, they have obtained several certifications in various fields. In 2008, they became an international external evaluator of Higher Education Institutions through the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education. In 2010, they received the certification of Bologna Process Trainer from the European Students' Union. In 2012, they obtained the certification for Securing Digital Democracy from the University of Michigan. In 2013, they obtained two more certifications; International Organizations Management from Université de Genève and Introduction to International Criminal Law from Case Western Reserve University.
