Amit Thaker

Amit Thaker has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Amit started in 2004 as a co-founder of Travel Bug and then moved on to become a co-founder of www.iyatra.com and www.indiaresortssurvey.com in 2005. Amit also worked as a lead instructional writer for LearningMate Solutions Pvt. Ltd in 2004 before joining Travelguru as a product manager later that year. From 2006 to 2013, they worked at Interactive Avenues as the Vice President in Mumbai, where they focused on business development, digital strategy, and managing the servicing team. In 2014, they became a self-employed digital marketing consultant, where they provided services such as digital strategy, team onboarding, and GTM strategy for startups, small businesses, and large corporates. In 2015, Amit co-founded The Great Next and served as co-founder, leading business and product strategy for India's first adventure travel marketplace. Amit then took on the role of Business Head for Amazon Prime Video at Interactive Avenues in 2020, where they led digital media account growth, team management, and new digital initiatives. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President at Interactive Avenues, overseeing various aspects such as creative services, technology, social media, content, martech, and creative strategy in Mumbai. Amit's work has been recognized with numerous awards in advertising.

Amit Thaker completed a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree in Marketing and Economics from Truman State University from 1998 to 2001. Amit also participated in a Basic Mountaineering Course at the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Sikkim in 2003. In 2005 to 2007, they attended Human Factors International for multiple fields of study, although a specific degree was not mentioned. Prior to their university education, they completed their ICSE at Maneckji Cooper Education Trust High School from 1982 to 1994.
