Tim was one of the original founders of Interactive Knowledge in 1991. In 2022, he and his remaining partners sold the company to Eric Veal, the current President. Tim continues to work at the company as the National Sales Manager.
Tim's background in education has helped him recognize and address the needs of IK's clients, who are almost exclusively cultural institutions, non-profits, foundations, and universities. Because people in these fields tend to be very passionate about their mission and material, Tim has built Interactive Knowledge on the principle that outstanding, engaging websites and interactives are produced by designers and developers who cultivate a genuine interest in and respect for the client's content. This ethos is the common denominator of every employee at Interactive Knowledge.
Tim holds a B.A. in Secondary Education with a focus on English and Social Psychology from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, and an M.A. in Instructional Design and Educational Media from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
