Erik Wingren

Partner, UX Design & Research at Interactivism

Erik Wingren has over fifteen years of experience in the fields of user experience, product management, and brand strategy. Erik is currently a partner at Interactivism, a UX design and research firm.

Wingren began their career as a Brand Strategist at TATTOO Brand Consulting. Erik then became a freelance User Experience Research Consultant before being hired by Idealab! to heading their User Experience Research department for their portfolio company Snap.com. At Snap.com, Wingren's role morphed over time into general UX- and Product Management.

In 2010, Wingren was hired by Myspace as their Director of Interaction Design. Erik built the UX team from scratch and led Information Architecture, Interaction Design, and User Research in the redesign, rebranding, and relaunch of Myspace.

Wingren has been with Interactivism since 2011 and is currently their Partner for UX Design & Research.

Erik Wingren's educational career includes a focus on leadership, organization, and innovation at The Kaospilot University, as well as social anthropology and political science at Lund University. Erik has also completed a CPE in English at the University of Cambridge.
