The InterAmerican Heart Foundation (IAHF) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to promote health and reduce heart diseases and stroke in Latin America and the Caribbean through education, advocacy and research. Focuses on tobacco control, healthy foods, physical activity, reduce salt in the diet, control hypertension, diabetes, dislipidemias. Heart and brain health. 

Members organizations in most countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. Affiliates in Argentina and Jamaica.

CARMELA Study, 7 Latin American major cities. Risk factors for cardio and cerebrovascular diseases.
Community Interventions for Health, pre and post evaluation of community intervention (schools, healthsites, businesses in two major districts of Mexico City.
From farm to retail: tobacco in Argentina. Evaluation of the economic, legal and social aspects of the growing and marketing of tobacco products in Argentina
