Tomasz Stepniewski

Tomasz Stepniewski is a skilled researcher and scientist with extensive experience in biomedicine and computational chemistry. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Sara Borrell Fellowship at the Hospital del Mar Research Institute since January 2023, Tomasz also contributes as a Research Scientist at the University of Warsaw's Department of Chemistry, focusing on projects aimed at developing novel biased molecules targeting opioid receptors. In the role of Senior Computational Chemist at InterAx Biotech, Tomasz applies advanced computational techniques. Previous experiences include investigating ligand-protein interactions during the PhD candidacy at IMIM and serving as a science explainer at Copernicus Science Centre. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Biomedicine from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Uniwersytet SWPS, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from Szkoła Główna Gospodarstwa Wiejskiego w Warszawie.
