Subhajit Mukherjee

Subhajit Mukherjee has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Subhajit currently works as an Ambassador for Majhi Vasundhara Abhiyan since January 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Jal Rakshak at the Ministry of Jal Shakti starting from July 2019.

In 2010, Subhajit founded Mission GREEN India NGO, which aimed to inspire citizens to grow their own oxygen by planting trees and promoting water conservation. Alongside this, they also founded Mission GREEN Mumbai, an initiative to plant 1 crore trees in Mumbai with the support of volunteers and NGOs. For this, they were honored with the "Maharashtra Gaurav" award in 2017 and was recognized by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the #SaveTheBeach initiative.

Subhajit has also worked at InterBase Corporation, where they provided consulting and advisory services to optimize IT environments. Prior to this, they worked at SAP-TECH, specializing in SAP consulting solutions and IT outsourcing. Subhajit began their career in 2003 as an SAP consultant at Consulting Solutions International and later worked as part of the IT Consulting Practice at GDI Infotech from 2006 to 2007.

Subhajit Mukherjee obtained a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a focus on International Business from the University of Allahabad from 1997 to 2000. Subhajit then pursued an MBA in Human Resources from the Institute of Business Management and Research from 2000 to 2002. Subhajit furthered their education by obtaining an Executive Diploma in HRM from XLRI Jamshedpur from 2006 to 2007. Subhajit also earned a Ph.D. in Business Strategy with a specialization in "Global Sourcing" from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade from 2004 to 2009.

In addition to their degrees, Subhajit holds several certifications. Subhajit received the Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) from the Six Sigma Quality Management Institute in January 2013. Subhajit obtained the SAP HR certification from Genovate SAP TECH Education in January 2006. Lastly, they obtained the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the Project Management Institute in February 2013.
