Alex Tyc

Alex Tyc worked as a Test Engineer at Intercede starting in March 2015. In this role, they were responsible for bug creation, verification and prioritization using the JIRA bug tracking software. Alex also created and managed test cycles using tools such as Zephyr and Testy JIRA plugin. Alex created test plans for each project, reported the testing progress to management through daily standups and end of sprint test reviews, and participated in the bug triage process. Alex reviewed design documentation and provided input from a testing perspective. Alex also analyzed the testing structure and implemented automation test suites. Alex had a high-level knowledge of JIRA and its associated Zephyr and Testy plugin tools.

Prior to their role at Intercede, Alex worked at Codemasters as a QA Team Lead from March 2007 to March 2015, though no specific responsibilities were provided.

Alex Tyc attended Clacton County High School from 1995 to 2002. After completing high school, Alex went on to study at the University of Essex from 2003 to 2006. At the university, Alex pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree with a focus on Computer Games & Internet Technology.
