Klaas Van Der Leest

Klaas Van Der Leest is the Chief Executive Officer at Intercede. Prior to this, they were the Senior Director EMEA, Services at CA Technologies from January 2016 to June 2017. Klaas was responsible for EMEA Services Sales & Delivery for CA’s Continuous Delivery software portfolio which included sales, revenue growth, utilisation and margin. Klaas also led the transformational development of the EMEA Continuous Delivery Professional Services team to support the acquired software applications in a start up environment.

From November 2012 to December 2015, Klaas was the Managing Director UK at Intelecom Group AS. Klaas was responsible for full P&L management and business turnaround in a demanding environment to tight timescales. Klaas transformed the multi-channel SaaS business into a rationalised business unit by devising and executing on a business plan. This included transforming the entire sales function, establishing a new sales and pre-sales team, enhancing and strengthening technical support & service delivery management functions, and revitalising marketing. Klaas also actively developed the partner plan. Core KPIs were all substantially ahead of UK business plan with material progress in e.g. license growth of 122% in FY2014 and trebled license growth in less than 3 years.

Klaas Van Der Leest studied marketing and product management at the Cranfield School of Management. Klaas also studied agricultural economics and marketing at the Het Van Hall Instituut. Klaas has a certification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing in Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Klaas also has a certification from itSMF in ITIL Foundation.
