Software Development Manager at Intercede

Neil Barnes has a long and varied work experience. Neil started their career as a Software Engineer at Cranfield College of Aeronautics in 1988. Neil later worked as a Section Leader at Marconi Radar and Control Systems from 1988 to 1995. Neil then became the MIS Development Manager at Associated Newspapers from 1995 to 1997. In 1997, they joined Informed Solutions as the Head of Mobile Systems Group until 2000. From 2000 to 2002, they served as a Programme Manager and later as the Head of Shortlink Technologies at Symbian. Neil then worked as the Head of Bluetooth, Symbian Devices at Nokia from 2009 to 2011. After that, they became the Director at Gidore from 2011 to 2013. Neil also worked as a Software Development Manager (Contract) at Travelex for a brief period in 2013. Neil then worked as a Software Delivery Manager (Contract) at Infonote Datasystems Ltd from 2014 to 2015. Currently, they are working as a Software Development Manager at Intercede, starting from 2016.

Neil Barnes attended Morley High School from 1976 to 1983. Neil then went on to study at UMIST from 1983 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computational Science.
