Jacob Crisan has a diverse work experience in software development and engineering roles. Jacob started their career as an intern at Saturday Academy in 2013, where they gained experience in web development using PHP, HTML, CSS, and WordPress. Jacob then interned at Autodesk in 2014, contributing to the development of a robotics simulator. In 2015, Jacob worked as a Summer Software Development Intern at Zapproved, where they focused on data migration and dashboard development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AWS.
In 2016, Jacob joined Autodesk again as a Software Development Intern, where they developed a dashboard that queried and graphed service statistics. Jacob then worked as a MECOP intern at Grass Valley, a Belden Brand, in 2017, gaining additional practical experience in a professional setting.
Jacob's skills and knowledge continued to grow as they worked as a MECOP intern at Acara Solutions in 2018. During this time, they improved software by implementing enhancements and fixing bugs in a Qt-based user interface, increased test coverage by creating new regression tests, and standardized existing tests.
Most recently, Jacob joined ToolBelt in 2021 as a Jr. Software Developer before transitioning to their current role as a Jr. Software Engineer at Interchecks in 2022. Throughout their career, Jacob has exhibited strong programming skills in C++ and various web development technologies and has shown a dedication to continuously improving their craft.
Jacob Crisan completed their education history with a Master's degree in Computer Science from Portland State University in 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from the same institution, graduating in 2019. In 2014, they attended The Center for Advanced Learning, studying Information Technology for two years. Their educational journey began at Reynolds High School, where they received their High School Diploma in 2014.
