Staff Engineer at Intercom

Brian Boyle has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position at Intercom as a Staff Engineer, where they have been since April 2022. Prior to this, they were a Software Engineer at Ericsson Australia, where they designed a software tool for internal use by the Publishing Unit.

Furthermore, Brian has experience as a Lead Developer for the E-vent Opensource Project, an Event Management Application for the 2006 European Juggling Convention. Brian designed and built an open-source registration and data analysis application for this project.

Lastly, Brian began their career at Information Mosaic as a junior Software Engineer in July 2004, working on the Converg-e product. Due to their eagerness to learn, they quickly became one of the main developers on the team, taking ownership of key technical components. Before this role, they worked as a QA Engineer at Information Mosaic for a 6-month placement during their third year in college. Brian'sresponsibilities included analyzing business specifications, writing and executing test cases, and performing regression testing of IM's products.

Brian Boyle completed their Leaving Certificate from Coláiste Eoin in 2000. Brian then pursued their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Information Systems from Technological University Dublin, which they successfully completed in 2004. In 2011, Brian enrolled at University College Dublin, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science (Negotiated Learning) and completed it in 2012.
