Declan M.

Declan M. has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Declan began their career at Redbrick, where they served as an Education Officer/Webmaster, handling technical queries, maintaining servers, and organizing society events. Declan then worked at Dublin City University as a Software Contractor and later as a Lecturer, focusing on audio-based delivery of mathematical equations to blind learners.

Following this, Declan joined BSB as a Senior Software Engineer, collaborating with multiple development teams to create new features for business-critical releases. Declan then moved to Datalex, where they took on various managerial roles. As the Engineering Manager - Customer, they managed engineering teams and contributed to new revenue streams. Declan was later promoted to Engineering Manager - Regional, responsible for overseeing all engineering teams in the EMEA region and restructuring teams to ensure the right skillsets. Declan also played a crucial role in migrating solutions to Amadeus and improving engineering procedures.

Currently, Declan is working as a Product Engineer at Intercom, where they apply their engineering expertise to develop products and contribute to the company's success.

Declan M. has a strong educational background in the field of Computing. Declan obtained their Ph.D. in Computing from Dublin City University from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their M.Sc. in Computing from the same university from 2005 to 2007. Declan'sundergraduate education was also in Computing, as they completed their B.Sc. degree from Dublin City University from 2000 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Declan M. has also acquired additional certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Declan completed the "Amazon Web Services Essential Training" from LinkedIn in May 2018.
