Emmet Connolly

Emmet Connolly has a strong background in product design and leadership. Emmet started their career as a Design intern at Hewlett-Packard in 2002. Emmet later joined Aró as a Senior Designer from 2002 to 2006. At Google, Emmet worked as a Senior User Experience Designer from 2006 to 2014, where they co-founded the Android Wear project and contributed to the design of wearables. Currently, they are employed at Intercom, where they have held several roles since 2014, including Director, Senior Director, and currently, VP of Product Design. In their role at Intercom, they have grown the design team, shaped processes and culture, and played a vital role in company-level strategy and vision. Emmet has also shared their expertise through blogging and speaking engagements in the product and design field.

Emmet Connolly completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and Politics from the University of Galway, where they studied from 1998 to 2001. Subsequently, Emmet pursued their Master's degree in Digital Art & Technology from the University of Plymouth from 2004 to 2007.
