Fergal D.

Fergal D. is an experienced education and business professional with a diverse background in teaching, business development, and coaching. Fergal served as a Primary School Teacher at the Ministry of Education New Zealand from January 2021 to July 2023, primarily at Ferndale School, specializing in special needs education. Fergal also facilitated the Lab5 program under the Ministry of Awesome, guiding high school students in entrepreneurship. As the Founder of StudentsNZ, Fergal created a platform to assist international students in finding suitable schools in New Zealand. Additionally, Fergal held roles in sales and business development at Intercom and Userpilot. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Teaching and Learning from the University of Canterbury, a Certificate in Small Business and Project Management from Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, and a Certificate of Commerce in Marketing and Management from the University of Canterbury. Coaching experience includes hockey and rugby at Christ's College.
