Gareth Carroll

Gareth Carroll has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Gareth started their career in 2013 as a Seasonal Sales Associate at Ron Jon Surf Shop during their J1 Summer Work & Travel US visa exchange. In 2014, they served as an Organiser & Promoter for the 'Lifelong Learning Festival 2014' at PAUL Partnership, where they researched events, liaised with clients, and collaborated with marketing and PR colleagues.

In 2015, Gareth worked as an Expo & Food Runner at the Oceanfront Red Marlin Restaurant as part of their J1 visa exchange program. Gareth then joined Copper & Spice Indian Restaurant as a Food Server & Temp. Front of House Manager, where they assisted guests with menu choices.

In 2016, Gareth became an English Teacher at CEDIN Colegio Irlandés. Gareth taught technical vocabulary and business English in various industries, with morning and evening classes both at school and on-site at companies.

In 2017, Gareth transitioned to CarTrawler as a Sales and Customer Operations Representative. Their responsibilities included supporting customers' needs, providing expert knowledge on products and services, and maintaining a professional yet friendly tone in all customer interactions.

Since 2018, Gareth has been with Intercom, starting as a Sales Development Representative - Inbound and later transitioning to Sales Development Representative - Outbound. In 2021, they were promoted to Team Lead - SDR and then moved to the role of Account Executive. In 2022, they further progressed to the role of Account Executive (Level 2), and as of 2023, they hold the position of Senior Account Executive.

Gareth Carroll has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Law & Psychology from the University of Limerick, which they obtained between 2012 and 2016. In 2014 and 2015, they participated in an Erasmus program at the University of Groningen, where they studied Psychology. Before their university education, Gareth completed their secondary education at Castletroy College, where they obtained a Leaving Certificate from 2006 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Gareth also holds a 120 Hours Online TEFL Certificate from THE TEFL ACADEMY, which they acquired in May 2016.
