John Moriarty is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in building and leading design teams across technology and education sectors. Currently serving as Design Director at Intercom since December 2025, John is responsible for the development of Fin. ai, an AI agent and customer service suite. Prior to this role, John was the Head of Product Design at DataRobot, where leadership in defining generative and agentic AI experience strategies shaped the platform's design foundations. John's tenure at Fjord (part of Accenture Song) included positions as Design Director and Design Lead, overseeing product design for enterprise projects and managing a multi-disciplinary design team. Additional experience includes senior design roles at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and Design Partners, where contributions to user-centered product design have been key. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from the National College of Art & Design and participated in an Erasmus program at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts.
