Laura W. has a diverse work experience across different industries. Laura started their career as a Global Markets Summer Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2012. Laura then worked as a Commodities Trader at Merrill Lynch from 2013 to 2015. Laura then transitioned into the tech industry, working as a Student at Makers Academy in 2016, followed by a role as a Junior Developer at Movebubble from 2016 to 2017. Laura then worked as a Software Developer at Zopa from 2017 to 2018. Currently, Laura is a Product Engineer at Intercom, where they focus on building scalable human customer support solutions and has also contributed to automated support products. In their current role, Laura led a strategic initiative to improve performance in the Next Gen Inbox, resulting in significant improvements in conversation load times and browser performance. Laura also collaborates with Product and Design teams to identify technical risks and provide estimates for current and future projects, influencing the product roadmap.
