Neil Quinlan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Neil started their career at Microsoft as a Test Engineer, where they were responsible for localization runs for Visual Studio 2005. Neil then joined Man Group as part of their AHL team, where they worked on trading system implementation and analyzing trades.
Neil's next role was at Mute, a record label, where they served as the Chief Engineer. Neil managed and engineered sessions, developed the studio's infrastructure, and oversaw production and mixing. Following this, Neil joined HSBC Global Banking and Markets as an Analysis/Development Engineer, primarily working on developing and deploying a sanctions screening solution.
In 2017, Neil joined Verizon Connect as a Senior Data Analyst and was later promoted. Neil reported metrics and KPIs to executives and developed advanced data products to support decision-making. Notable accomplishments include implementing NLP modeling of customer service calls and merging web analytics, customer support, and sentiment data.

Neil Quinlan holds a Master's degree in Computing Major in Data Science from Dublin City University, which they pursued from 2018 to 2020 on a part-time basis. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from University College Cork, completing their studies between 2002 and 2006. Additionally, in 2009, they earned an Engineer's degree in Audio Engineering from Alchemia College of Engineering. Neil has also acquired certifications in The Data Scientist's Toolbox from Coursera in February 2015 and in Pro Tools Operator from Avid Technology in May 2009.
