Sagar Joglekar

Sagar Joglekar is a seasoned expert in machine learning and artificial intelligence, currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Intercom since October 2023, where research focuses on optimizing large language model pipelines for customer support tools. Prior experience includes a role as a Machine Learning Scientist at Expedia Group, where foundational capabilities for natural language and image understanding were developed, and as a Research Scientist at Nokia Bell Labs, working on machine learning and statistical inference in healthcare and urbanism. Earlier positions also include leadership in AI research at Firedrop, extensive software engineering experience at Citrix, and algorithm development at Infosys Technologies Limited. Sagar holds a PhD in Computer Science from King's College London, a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, and multiple engineering degrees from Indian universities.
