Stephen R. Ashlock

Stephen R. Ashlock has a diverse and extensive work experience in the dental industry. Stephen R. started their career in 1992 as the Vice President of Operations at Interdent - Gentle Dental, where they managed 45 clinics in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. During their tenure, they also oversaw the management of a Third Party Administration company and successfully added additional clinics through acquisitions and de-novos.

Stephen then joined Smile Brands Inc. - Bright Now Dental in 2001 and held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Regional Manager and Northwest Area Vice President of Operations. Stephen R. was responsible for implementing an internally developed practice management system and transitioning markets to the new system.

In 2014, Stephen became the Chief Operations Officer at Advantage Dental, before moving on to DentalOne Partners Inc. in 2015. At DentalOne Partners, they served as the Regional Vice President, overseeing 40+ clinics in multiple markets and achieving growth in revenue and market EBITDA. Stephen R. also held the position of Vice President - Specialty Services, where they successfully grew specialty revenue and improved service line margin evaluation.

Stephen's most recent role was at Smiles Dental as the Chief Operations Officer, overseeing 21 clinics in Oregon and Washington. Stephen R. played a significant role in growing revenue and market EBITDA, as well as improving ortho consults and conversion rates.

Currently, Stephen works at InterDent Service Corporation as the Pacific Northwest - General Manager (Area Vice President of Operations).

Stephen R. Ashlock holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Portland State University.
