Emily Wright joins Interdependence as an account executive specializing in consumer and travel industries. Emily’s passion for writing and creativity led her to peruse a career in public relations. She now has over four years of experience ranging from traditional PR to boundary-pushing integrated efforts. Prior to joining the Interdependence team, Emily worked at BVK where she worked with nationally recognized consumer and travel brands like Carmex, Crunchmaster crackers, West Virginia Tourism Office, Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism and many more.
Emily earned a dual bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and Communication Studies from the University of Iowa and later earned her master’s degree in Media Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Her research focused on what makes people tick and how persuasive messaging is best received. She loves finding new ways to involve her research into her daily PR practice.
