Hongfei du

Hongfei Du is an Embedded Software Architect at InterDigital Communications since June 2015, focusing on developing system and platform architectures in collaboration with European Project Partners. Prior to this role, Hongfei served as a Research Fellow at the University of Surrey, concentrating on software prototyping and programmable hardware for Machine-to-Machine communications. Previous experience includes positions at Bell Laboratories as a Senior Researcher leading 3GPP standardization activities, Project Leader at CREATE-NET specializing in middleware solutions for multimedia broadcasting, and a Research Coordinator at Simon Fraser University. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Mobile and Satellite Communications from the University of Surrey and a BEng in Electronic Information Engineering from Beihang University.
