Michael Francis Schmidt

Michael Francis Schmidt is currently a Senior Director at InterDigital, having assumed the role in 2025. Previously, they served as a Senior Licensing Manager at Nokia from 2021 to 2025 and as a Licensing Manager for Mobile Devices at Nokia Technologies between 2017 and 2021. Prior to that, Michael completed an IP Internship at CoMotion at the University of Washington from 2016 to 2017. They are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Washington, a JD at Seattle University, and a Master of Science in Patent Law at the University of Notre Dame.
