Mohammad Heggo is a Research Fellow at InterDigital, Inc. since April 2023, with prior experience as a Research Associate at Imperial College London and The University of Manchester, contributing to projects on offshore wind farm automation and inspection drones. Heggo also held a position at The University of Sheffield, focusing on wireless smart sensing systems for gas turbine engines, and conducted PhD research on power line and wireless communications at A*STAR. Earlier in his career, Heggo worked as a Firmware Engineer at El Sewedy Electro-meter Egypt, where firmware for electronic meters was developed. Heggo holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Liverpool and advanced degrees in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Ain Shams University.
