Simona Popa

Simona Popa is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government relations, regulatory affairs, and intellectual property advocacy in Europe. Currently serving as a Board Member for both the European Internet Forum and IP Europe Official since 2022, Simona also holds the position of Senior Director for Government Relations and Regulatory Affairs at InterDigital, Inc. since 2020. Additional roles include Chair and Vice-Chair positions at the Intellectual Property Committee and the European Parliament Outreach Taskforce for the American Chamber of Commerce to the European Union (AmCham EU). Simona’s prior experience encompasses senior leadership roles at AT&T | WarnerMedia, RTL Group, and the Association of Commercial Television in Europe. With a Master's degree in European Union Law from King's College London and an educational background in internet governance and communication, Simona combines legal expertise with strategic outreach in the telecommunications and digital sectors.
